Aurora Borealis Brunch

When you stay at Kenai Riverfront Resort, in our B&B or Riverfront Suite, you're in for a real treat each morning as you enjoy our unique Aurora Borealis Brunch infused with a wide variety of ethnic influences from our travels around the world.

We named our brunch after the mysterious Northern Lights, or Aurora Borealis, that we enjoy each winter here in Alaska because after staying up half the night oooing and ahhhing over the radiant colors as they dance across the sky, brunch around the noon hour sounds a whole lot more appealing than an early morning breakfast.  The same is true in the summer we've found, when our guests stay up late under the midnight sun fishing Red Salmon on the shore or leave before first morning light in pursuit of King Salmon or Silver Salmon with our guides, our Aurora Borealis Brunch is the perfect meal to recuperate from all that fun work!

From our Finnish "Wild Blueberry Kropsua", an oven pancake brought to American by my great grandpa Isak Mäkkinen in 1903, and the first meal of nearly 100% of our guests, to our "Swiss Röschti" loaded with Emmental cheese, or even our Japanese style "Seaweed Smoked Salmon Omelette", you're sure to taste some new gourmet international cuisine on every visit.

Our Alaska Brunch is served between 11:00am and 1:00pm daily, to accommodate the schedules of our fishing guests.  Other times may be arranged by special request based on our availability.  Guten Apetit!
